I was working in an office when it hit facing south of Texas ave near the kfc. It went right by my apartments where I live. Took out the fence.... One car...... Part of the pawn shop, windows at the Firestone. Strange how these things pick and choose what to hit the hardest.

Ah, so THAT's why those crappy apartments have a makeover now. My little sis lived there briefly before she met her husband and got a house with him in Bryan.

Tornadoes are pretty rare in Bryan/College Station. I've been here for 23 years, and as far as I can remember this is the strongest one to hit inside the city. For all of the property damage, nobody got seriously hurt.
We're far more likely to get damage from ordinary wind gusts in spring thunderstorms.

Thanks for the info I really feel much better about moving now and sorry to bother but what its a good area to live either in Bryan or College station

Bryan is cheaper, but IMO the quality of life is better in CS.
