Greetings turbo147B, I'm not really up on meters versus feet, but top fuel and funny cars now run to the 1,000 foot mark. Normally it has been to 1,320 feet but due to the high speeds and such quick times, NHRA has shortened the footage to 1,000 feet for safety.
