Quieting the mind is the single biggest challenge of meditation. In fact, focusing the mind on a single thought or point of reference (such as breathing, a mantra, or the sound of footsteps) and bringing the mind back to that subject when it wanders, in an essential part of meditation. In this brief session, instructor Darren Main guides a student into meditation by focusing on the act of breathing.
