Continuing section hiking the Pennine Way, I do a 18 mile stretch from Snake Pass to Standedge, finishing off the Peak District section.
I follow the Way over Bleaklow, Torside Reservoir, Black Hill, crossing the Derbyshire/Yorkshire border, and Wesenden Reservoirs.

  • Can you give the approximate date you did this, and give an idea of the time it took?

  • I filmed this day on September 21st 2009 and it took about 10 hours. I've done it in 6 hours before.

I did the entire Pennine Way in 2000 and I spent roughly three weeks on it

  • Your Pennine Way videos have inspired me enough that I am planning to hike the entire walk next June. Right now I am obsessed with the planning and choosing equipment. Thank you so much, and I hope you soon do the second half!!

  • That looked like a fun trip! One day, I'm going to England and hike that same trail... BTW, that farmer didn't look too friendly, but his dog knew just what to do.

    Thanks for the Vid!
