Drift - Drifting refers to a driving technique and to a motorsport where the driver intentionally over steers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while maintaining vehicle control and a high exit speed. A car is drifting when the rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle prior to the corner apex, and the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn, and the driver is controlling these factors.

@Sebakachilliman YOU CAN drift a fwd car. just takes alot of practice. power slide and drift are two completly different things.

@xXShubhayXx AFAIK there hasnt been one since the early years since you cant reallyy acelerate out of a drift.

"BUT" go look at this. Find "and FF" It will take you directly to the allowed drivetrains in D1GP. It says right there in the offical rules that FF's are allowed. So they must be able to drift.

@Sebakachilliman I love how every person has to state drifting cannot be done FWD. but, in the words of ken block (one of the best drifters) getting sideways is drifting. doesnt matter if its fwd, awd, rwd, or a bike. gettin sideways is gettin sideways

As long as the fwd car has enough hp and torque and forced induction boost of 15 - 20 lbs and strong custom made axles drifting would look nice on fwd cars.
