honestly...with better axles, and some suspension mods...its fairly easy to launch these cars even with the IRS on them. Obviously, better tires will help to...just make sure you upgrade your axles or they will turn to pretzels.

Both were mustangs so i didnt care who won.

60' was 2.1, not that great.. car has cams now, and getting a 5.1L stroker kit in a couple weeks, will put a new video on in a couple months..

there to heavy and they got 2 much power if u get some bigger gears like 4.10's are good for cobra's and drag radial you'll launch like a sob

hell yeah they are hard to launch, the IRS makes it pretty tough unless you have some extra suspension upgrades..

car has a BBK X-pipe, welded in flo-masters, CAI (only fenderwell, not full mass air kit), throttle body, and Diablo Sport Tuner...

ive driven a few cars at the track and the cobra is by far the hardest 2 launch. They got 2 much junk in the trunk

Whats all done to your cobra? lol I was going to have mine dynoed buy the exhaust was in the way to strap it down. Cheaps ass 2 roller dyno.

what did you launch at. i suck i ran a 13.8@106. my 60' time was 2.87. do you slip the clutch? i should run close to that time. i killed and evo ix on the road.

i dont slip the clutch, i think i launched at around 3500 RPMS (basically i take it easy for the first 30ft and then rip into it..) haha, any higher than that with street tires and I just spin.. my 60 ft. is about a 2.2 which could still be faster..... the car was dynoed at 300RWHP, 305RWTQ, needs to be tuned..
