Try writing about this in your personal statement, that while you struggle with pure math, your mind really understands math when in the context of science, or I suppose when it is applied. If you are one of the best in a science class that should be a benefit

I did crap in maths But when it came to maths in science my brain would just click its self on !! I could do the Higher tier stuff that no one in my class could do ! Don't know why people go on all grades everyones brain is differnet and unique in their own way

They won't really look at you GCSEs, although if you really work at them, you will be able to do really well, I was predicted a few Bs and a C, but ended up getting all As and A*s. AS levels are much more important. They are the main thing unis look at for offering you a place.

for people that go to ucl , in my gcse am predicted 2 A* 3As and 4bs , is that good enough for ucl and am planning to work hard in a level aiming for A*AA

Grades...it is not evoluation of students work. Teacher gives a grade for his own work ;) so nothing bad, that you had B in math i guess, because you are not dumb or whatsoever) email them and have interview..everyone is kinda equal...)
