Hitler used the Dawes/Young loans from the US Govt. to rearm Germany...when the money was supposed to be used for rebuilding the peace time German economy.

Every nation in Europe was broke affter WW1...and most of the devastation had happened in Belgium and France and Poland and Serbia...so Germany was completely intact.in 1919.

So Germany had a huge advantage in WW2...because it was intact.
