  • How many times did they miss, before finally hitting?

  • i enjoy visits to the MSFC Space Center in huntsville and KSC in florida. the US has emphasized and monetarily rewarded benane and trivial athleticism and "entertainment" fetes as the Rossiyans are again making the greater strides to the stars. bush constantly slashed the NASA budget (he despised NASA) as he rewarded halliburton and its iraq disaster and thus bankrupted the US treasury. he also had great rewards for his ceo financial wall street friends as they were also republican deregulated.

  • also Von Braun neither liked the republicans or Eisenhower as they constantly ignored funding fledgling NASA or even giving him and his team support of any kind. Von Braun settled in

Huntsville, Alabam because he loved the beauty of the area and that is where he established the BRAINS and central command of NASA, Marshal Space Flight Center. the other centers later followed. i greatly admire both Sergei Karolev and Werner Von Braun and all others who follow in their footsteps! TO THE STARS!

  • intercontinental ballistic rockets for launching weapons when the US did not. however, Karolev died in 1967 and Von Braun and the US overtook the Rossiyans for the moon mission. just to show how Eisenhower and the mccarthy driven republican party were so ignorant, Eisenhower stated "if G-D wanted a man on the moon, then he would have put him there". of course when Kennedy entered office in 1961, he stated "the US will have a man on the moon by the end of the decade". he delivered.

  • the Rossiyans used a Vostok. the US news crew had no visual footage of the launch and Karolev shunned publicity, so they substituted this US test launch of a v-2 for visual effect. Karolev, who was older than von Braun, was advanced in rocketry over Von Braun and the Rossiyans were shooting rockets at the fascist forces before Von Braun ever could launch any against the allied targets. Sputnik was fearful to the US, not because of the satellite itself, but that it proved that the Rossiyans had

  • indeed, lol

  • you make good point.... yeah
