This woodchuck (A.K.A. groundhog) has been living in a hole under the big tree stump by the entrance to the tractor area for a few years now. Whenever we're up there working on stuff, he pokes his head out and watches us! When no ones around, he comes out and stands on the rock like he is in this video, perched on his hind legs keeping watch over his kingdom. When he's not doing that, he walks over by the ol' Buick and rubs his back on the tree bark. He doesn't usually walk around the yard, but this time he was probably looking for food to store up fat for the long winter hibernation. (He is probably hibernating now). Some places have watch dogs to protect their things. Well, we have a watch woodchuck; -a watch-chuck.

  • nice music, you should get a tripod for your camera. your hands arent very steady.jk.

Man, we get all types of animals around here my the north saskachewan river. Let me tell ya. we get deer, moose, porcupines, skunks, groundhogs and garder snakes!

  • Yeah zoomed in all the way it's hard to keep it steady. I would have pulled out the tripod, but there wasn't any time to find it, he was only out for a few minutes.

  • i hate them fuckers eatin up the garden alla time! if i see em round here i shoots at em

  • Lol, yeah we don't have any gardens here fortunately. We had groundhogs at work in the summer and they kept digging holes at the bottom of the steps making it real easy for someone to sue us when they walk off the steps and into a foot deep hole. The groundskeeper kept trapping them, but more kept coming.

  • @krankiev you are dumb its a friendly animal

  • @krankiev you are dumb

  • Id catch 10 of them and stuff in a bag and throw into the river

  • You may have a kingdom of them soon, one of them to watch every tractor.

  • well.. trapping doesn't work. But I'll tell ya, they aren't stupid. We shot one about 6 years ago and haven't seen any around since. They know when they aren't wanted.

  • i would give it food and make friends and he or she will get used to you
