On Sunday, November 6, 2005, then Senator Barack Obama visited the Shiloh Baptist church. He was campaigning for Senator John Corzine, who later became Governor of New Jersey. Only God knew then that we were worshiping with a man that would become the first African-American president of the United States.

Here in this clip, Pastor Darrel L. Armstrong of Shiloh B.C. prays over Obama and other politians.

  • How was this not a violation of the separation of church and state? I am so sick of liberal churches getting away with what conservative ones never could. If a conservative senator ever gave a campaign speech like this from the pulpit of a conservative church on a Sunday there would be the immediate demand to end the tax-exempt status of that church. This is a double standard pure and simple.
