In 1997, fifty-eight innocent tourists were massacred in Luxor, Egypt by Islamic fundamentalists. Five years on and the families of the dead have received no official apology or any compensation. Angered at being ignored, five of them from three corners of the world travel to Egypt to seek answers. They trace the command to attack right back to Osama Bin Laden.

are you kidding me "one of the first suicide attacks in the name of islam"?? 4- Militants all died! Committed suicide? In Islam it is forbidden to commit suicide for whatever reason. Killed? Who killed them? Killing them is a heroic action and whoever did that should be proud and honored, why we were never told his/their names?

5- Where are the autopsy reports?

6- Needless to say that Head of State Security Police was promoted afterward to be Minister of Interior and he is the same man who ordered Alexandria Church bombing early 2011.

2- Militants changed their closes in a nearby sugarcane field before taking a car. Their closes and underwear were expensive brands! Is that usual for "Militants"?

3- They took their time in mutilating bodies and inserted leaflets into wounds! Militants usually hit and run but they acted like they knew they are safe and will covered! In no other incident after or before that we ever saw this kind of brutality that usually comes from mercenaries.

There are so hundreds of unanswered questions hopefully some day we will read wiki-leaks and see how "Governments" were involved.

Facts/Questions: -

1- Militants stayed in a 5* Hotel in Luxor! Militants never stay in hotels and they usually rent flats and most probably in other cities near targets. How come their names were not published? In Egypt you must hand your passport or National ID in all hotels and a copy must be taken, posted in books and sent to 5 security bodies.

Back in 1997 I was working in a 5* Hotel and the Swiss guests killed in the massacre were supposed to check into my hotel the following day. I can't describe how we all felt about what happened but people were shocked, angry and miserably sad.

Egyptians are very friendly people especially with foreigners and anyone had the chance to meet Egyptians in Egypt and especially in Upper Egypt would tell you the same.
