@pianoplayeruk With my D300s and Sandisk Extreme 8GB UDMA 60MB/s CF card, without d-lightning, noise reduction, and etc... When i half press the shutter release button, on the status LCD is the remaining exposures are 37, but my buffer ran out approx 60-70 pictures.

We heard only 3 seconds of shutter. At what point did the buffer overspill start?
