Ricky Gervais cameo on the Fox hit series "24". This was never aired, but a bonus feature from dvd.
The scene was filmed for the dvd release, just as a joke. The scene isn't "doctored", they used real footage from the episode and some spoof footage to put this scene together.

I think in a interview he said he did it because of Stan Laurel, who he admirers. Kind of a homage.

Ricky Gervais is such a genius. I'm addicted to his shit. I've watched several of his tours and I'm watching The Office UK, Extras and The Invention of Lying. He's brilliant. lol
