  • Legal or not, I won't argue that point. Ebay is alowed to set their own policies as to whether they will allow a certain item on their site.

  • @Checkerholic Oh that is true, all you have to do is take the photo of the backside of the knife and state other things because the monkeys don't know how to think over there and the guys that continue to break the rules list the item for what it is by name and brand and if you are unfamiliar with things the listing never gets removed. But the legal listing for assisted models and ones that are allowed get removed. I don't care anymore I don't sell on their shitty site anyway.

  • Propelled Knives are not legal. Switchblades are not legal. Spring Assist Knives (Shanks) are not legal.

  • @Zayin1993 Your are an idiot. Try educating yourself before you spout shite out of your mouth.

Amendment (1447) to the FY 2010 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill H.R. 2892 was passed by the House of Representatives & approved by the U.S. Senate on October 20th, 2009

This Modified the 50-year Old Federal Switchblade Act Modernized to Protect Americans with Knives.

This Added a Fifth Clause to Define Assisted Opening Knives as 100% Legal

This was done to make sure Idiots knew.

  • @Roadsideimports I was just giving you a hard time. Dam fool no need to blow things out of proportion and call people idiots... My last comment was retarded and the fact that you justified it with a response is, in my opinion, rather desperate.

But just to play devils advocate, "... knife owners should realize that they are still bound by the knife laws of their state. And if you travel to another state, you are bound by their state laws." - This is what I found on the first result of google...

  • @Zayin1993 Not desperate, comments that are INCORRECT need to be dealt with so that other people don't fall victim to information that is wrong period.

True statements on state laws, then you add it even further to city and county because they can even restrict further.

Best thing to do is call the local police and ask about all applicable laws where you are.

  • Your can have a Spring assisted knife and that's better

  • I just got robbed by Paypal today! This DEADBEAT loser (ebay name stkwireless) bought not one but TWO 32" flatscreen televisions from me. AFTER I shipped them out he emails me saying, "I ordered the wrong model...sorry about that! I'm just going to refuse the delivery." I told him sorry, but I do not accept returns, as stated in my eBay ad. That motherfucker refused the packages so I was charged not only for the original shipping but the return shipping as well! $154 and Paypal backed it!

  • ebay sucks, they shuted down the net disaster!
