For open air art in Venice, you need only to look at the canals. Sleek and graceful, gondolas are a symbol of this most serene city. On a gondola, romantics glide through their own parallel Venice, experiencing echoes of the past, and reflections of once upon a time grandeur. When I saw this on our WTTW in Chicago I was so impressed with your trip. You gave me back my memories of my trip there in Venice back in 2007. I miss it so much!!! Thank you for your shows on PBS WTTW Channel 11 here in Chicago.

it was supposed to be romantic and cuddly and kissy and all...

I went to Venice last year, and I have got to tell you that this is the most amazing, most exotic, interesting and unusual city I have visited anywhere in the world. I can see why it's so famous.
