Portugal. The Man and TFOT started around the same time.

The way Portugal. The Man is now is relatively new (full band and not as beat-based), but I have demos of The Man that are from when it was Johnny's side project around the end of Anatomy Of A Ghost.

It's crazy cause there are guitar lines and parts of songs that ended up being in "Wizard" that are from the original Portugal. The Man demos :D
