Where's the Filipinos?

Because people have cultural identity. Not everyone grew up the same way you did. Americans may grow up going to same schools, listening to the same music, etc. But in this diverse cultural melting pot, people still have to have a way to find their identity. Their cultural communities are a good way to start. So yes, we are all Americans, but we have different backgrounds and identities— isn't that what America is about?

We can't use the word "Asian" next to "White" and "Black." The former is a geographical location, the latter are pigments. We need something like "Yellow" or "Tan" and it would include people from southern Greece, Italy, Spain, Northern Africa, Eastern Africa, Middle East, Mexico, Central/South America, Natives of Alaska, America, Australia, etc. "Yellow" or "Tan" or "Bronze" Americans are a huge group in a democratic system.

YES!!! Filipinos ARE Asian... so get over it. The Philippine Island Nation is just a hop, skip & jump south of Taiwan & north of Malaysia & to the West sits the S. China Sea. Hong Kong is a 1 1/2 flight from Manila. Hawaii, Somoa & Tonga are FAR from the Philippines. the Ph

I hope you get the whole point to the documentary instead of complaining why your ethnicity is not represented in it .. I mean, it doesn't mean it is ignorant to your ethnicity, it just happened to choose 14 Asians and none of them is from your ethnicitiy.Get over it.
