hatton was fighting the best p4p in the world and cortez
the ref played a big part in that fight
-
Can tell that he has his Fatton suit back on... lol

I think the floyd fights took a lot outta ricky, mosta the criticisms uncalled for, much of it being frustration at what might of been, but Ricky finds himself having to conceed he's a light welter n not p4p,this in itself leaves him on a collision course with witter,if he must take torres or malignaggi first-fine,its just putting off the inevitable. The bad blood between them dont mean shit, that fight is both mens career defining fight.Sorry Ricky but u need 2 take a leaf outta David hayes book

studioharbor your 100% right what you said there, you think it was a mother protecting her child, cortez was a joke and mayweather was dirty!
-
ricky is a copycat...ill explain..he uses other peoples jokes , he starting talking about himself in 3rd person as soon as he heard floyd doing it , he started wearing the same style of suits that floyd wears as soon as floyd started dissing his dress sense...it would be funny if he came out in his next fight and tried to adopt floyds style ...lol.

shut up fat boy u got leathered and embarrassed and shown up 4 how shite u really are

Shut up youd get your arse kicked by him
-
ricky, you didnt lose a ten round decision. You were knocked out!!! Stop complaining. You'll lose again if you fight junior witter too.

Hatton is a rythm fighter. I'm not sure I can agree the outcome is absolute without Cortez fucking everything up. Mayweather would not have been allowed to forearm-shiver Hatton unchecked with a proper official. Cortez played a complex and prominent role.
The main flaw for Cortez was the point deduction in that fight, but Mayweather was beating Hatton on the inside. If Cortez had allowed more in-fighting Mayweather may have Ko'd Hatton even earlier IMO. Hatton would have lost with any ref because he's just not good enough to beat Mayweather. Its a shame but it's true.

While Cortez did play a role I would say ultimately his officiating prevented an earlier KO of Hatton. Mayweather did beat Hatton on the inside, utilising Hattons own trademark clinching techniques and causing many of the referee interventions. I'd say with any referee and even on British soil the outcome would be the same. Hattons inability to compete at WW was underlined in this fight.
