  • This was the first bootleg Eruption I heard when I was in the 8th grade in 1990! Awesome!

  • Cool Expierience Man...Hopefully I'll have a couple of those when I Get Older!

  • Yea right! Are you serious? Let me make this simple,if there was no eddie van halen there sure as hell would be no paul gilbert. He influenced so many different players. He layed out the foundation of what rock guitar has come out too.Your statement made no sense at all

  • Simply the Best

  • What I find exciting about this is that even he doesn't... and has never, played it note for not perfect as he did on the album... which of course is not impossible to do, as you see here on Youtube everyday. Technique, improvisation, and creativity... awesome.

  • so hard not to worship

  • I have never in my life heard something so phenomenly amazing in my entire life!!! And in 1978-79!!! Please stop comparing this guy to Slash or even hendrix!!!! This is no doubt that this guy is the greatist guitarist that ever lived!!!!!! Unfrigging believable!!!!!!!

  • This was from the Pasdena Civic. Finding this bootleg back in 1981 at Zia records here in PHX was like finding a GOLD. The best.

    ED IS THE MAN!!!!!

  • This is from the great Pasadena Civic bootleg record that was around for a long time. Back in the early 80's when I got it at Zia records in PHX it was the coolest thing to have. It was musical gold! The guy recording it dropped the recorder at the end of the show and the las t song is faster and higher.

    ED IS THE MAN!!!!
