Hi - THE DEFINITE ARTICLE was late 1995. I was at one of the shows (and met the man twice and made a total prat of myself in my admiration, which cut no ice). I am fairly sure this was broadcast in 1996, after the series of original shows. Presumably, it was also recorded afterwards but I'm happy to stand corrected.

I don't know about you, but I REALLY wouldn't be able to perform like Eddie does in this video. In the DVDs he tends to be on a higher stage with a bit of distance from the audience - in this video he's practially RIGHT IN AMONGST THEM, not to mention there's that curtain behind him. Too claustrophobic! If I were a performer I imagine I'd need LOTS of space to just run around and freak out and act out my thoughts.
