What is the Type of this Air Raid Siren! I like the sound! :) How much Does it cost?
-
i thought it stopped at 0:38

Sounds a little like a V6 engine on windup.
-
how large the diameter of sirens ?
-
Sounds like theres a fair bit of resistance within the motor- it winds down just a little too quick...
By the way, I found a nice example of a Castle Castings on the old water tower at Former RAF West Raynham. I'm persuading them to preserve it!

nakaleni 3 years ago
Hi
on the nearly full speed run it is 140db
crownhill 3 years ago
It can vary between anything up to £100 or £1000
depending who wants one badly enough.
On the day who knows as these are very rare now.

Congratulations!
But I would NEVER have risked this if moisture was in the coils. What is normal voltage this is to run on?
240?, 480? Thank you,

Hi Generally old three phase or any motor that hasnt been run for a while does retain a certain amount of moisture and it did show some resistance.
It was one of those circumstances were you take a chance and run it and usually it will start to dry out. This Did and ended up with 0.1 M resistance, and getting dryer The Motor is realy balanced and Max volted is 400 although 300 did the job.
