Sander Veeneman is a photographer and a filmmaker. But that's not all. Veeneman is more than just a recorder of the still and moving image. He leads the way photographing and filming people growing up in famine-stricken areas, and raising awareness of peopleís own responsibility to do something about it.
Each day, 24,000 people on average die of starvation. Sander Veeneman is someone who does not take this for granted. He started the foundation First8 and initiated a worldwide visual campaign to raise and increase awareness about grinding and increasing poverty.
