Yankee Stadium Last Day Game Jeter Hit By Pitch

Yankee Stadium September 20, 2008. The last day game to be played. Derek Jeter was hit in the left hand with a pitch in the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the Orioles.
Jeter was hit leading off the inning against Jim Miller. He recoiled toward the Baltimore dugout and was attended to by manager Joe Girardi and head trainer Gene Monahan before walking off the field, drawing boos from the crowd of 54,662.

The pitcher is my younger brother!!!! This was the first time in my life I was rooting against the Yankees. I'm a die hard Yankee fan, but Jeter shouldn't have been leaning into the pitch.
