SOCOM GEAR 1911 MEU review/operations and upgrades tutorial

Airsoft GI recently started selling a product that is very like this modification. (I'd like to think they got the inspiration from me, but that would be far too self-flattering). You can purcase the threaded barrel, hop up, and barrel assembly for a very reasonable price of $48. It can be found here: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6933

If you are considering performing the modification shown in this video, I would probably point you in the direction of the Madbull barrel set, because it will most likely be a much better performer, not to mention drop-in easy to install. So enjoy the sweet 1911, but now there is an easier way out in the modification department. Good luck and may your bbs fly true!
