i finally figured out how to use midi function of my mpc1000 & keyboard now i will never be out of sync making a beat

you need to turn off your program from your mpc then switch your midi channel to 1A for 1st track, 2A for 2nd track and so on. if you pluged in your midi cable to B then you should always use B. midi out from mpc will go to your keyboard midi in and midi out from your keyboard will go to your midi in of your mpc

    thanks again!

  • try these steps im pretty sure this time it will work, set ur MIDI CH to A1-A16 then try 2 record a sound from CH A1 lets say grand piano, then STOP EVRYTHING "keyboard/mpc" after u recorded the 1st sound then go 2 CH A2 and HIT PLAY 4 a second frm mpc then pick a new sound lets say guitar then hit record again do the same procedure in every channel/sound.if these steps doesnt work then its time 4 Dr. AlExOnZe lol 2 send u a video mail.give me ur email add ill send u my 2nd tutorial video

  • Thanks for de vid man!!!

    folowing your steps i can only play just one instrument(grand piano) on the mpc pads;

    I change the instrument on the keyboard and still playing the same sound on mpc;

    the keyboard is a pice of shit(yamaha ez150),but a didnt expect it that bad!

    ill be gratefull if somebody helps!

    Thanks

  • wanna see me recording multifull instruments using mpc1000 & OLD keyboard? check my video "isang linggong pagibig instrumental, buhay alagaan, wag nang mangamba, invisible friends"

  • Can you do set the mpc to call up the right patch from the keyboard ?

    Is that 'program change' I'm new to midi.

    Can I set a program change in the mpcs sequencer in other words ?

  • u can always control all sounds frm ur keyboard to ur mpc follow these steps

    to play & record multiful instrument on mpc & keyboard, from mpc set your PROGRAM OFF then set the MIDI CHANNELS to A1 thru A16 'A/B midi input the same procedure' after that you're all set.also these settings applies to all new & old keyboard just like my fuckng old keyboard lol
