Rockman 7 Sample Version
Differences Video Part 1 of 4

So...guess what I found recently? Yep. The Sample version of Rockman 7: Fate of the Showdown. As such, and seeing as no one's done so yet...I'm gonna do my YouTube duty and put up a four-part video detailing most of the changes from the Sample version of Rockman 7 to the final. Pretty interesting stuff, really.

IN THIS PART:
- Intro Stage
- Freezeman's Stage

Incidently, this is video #50. It's the 53rd video I've uploaded total (I've deleted three), but this registers as video #50. So...yeah.

  • wait, so this was pretty much the game while it was in development?

  • Yep. That's why it's called "Rockman 7 Sample". It's a sample version of Rockman 7.

  • This isn't freeze man's music, but it is freeze man's stage. what the hell...

  • Just use Google. Trust me. You'll find it. Search for "Rockman 7 Sample".

  • Hey man. Great video, FTW.

I've realized about five more differences!

    - There is a difference on the ground where the second bear fight happens.

    - The dinosaur skeleton on the background is colored differently.

    - The rocks color is pink instead of purple on the final.

    - On the last bear fight, there should be a spikepit below the ladder.

    and last

    - The Ice Cap is smaller and doesn't have a brightness animation.

  • I think it's called "Super Adapter", because of the mix between Jet and Power...

  • 7:46 glitch-ed enemy intro

  • The intro stage reminds me of the second half of the intro stage for X4.

  • The text is bold at 3:20

  • @frostare i know where to download it along with other prototypes

  • I like the spinning effect on the dialogue boxes. I think the only thing they used the spinning for in the final version was on the screen for the secret versus mode.

  • >One up appears.

    >falls into oblivion

    RAAAAAAAAGE

  • Nice to get your hands on this, and you seem to have exploited it fully.

  • I honestly didn't think beta versions of the Mega Man games existed except for the early screenshots of Mega Man X. Well, since this is called a "sample", I assume this was made for the then first E3 and Tokyo Game Show at the time.

  • The Super Adapter color was used in the final as the P2 color of the versus mode as Megaman.

  • You mean like a beta?
