@AeonMagnus unfortunatly have to agree with you for the most part save for comment about G2. by season 3 transformers was starting to lose steam with the fanbase, one of the reasons was because prime who most of the kids watched everyday was gone and they brought in rodimus who was not seen as a good leader. marvel pulled funds by the end of it supposively, which resulted in season 4 being the 3 episode rebirth. hasbro was trying to bring back the fans with G2 but it backfired.

@Azerothian1 They already tried that two decades ago. Problem is that it doesn't "die with some dignity", it fades out with a whimper and a lack of interest like the original G1 continuity did 17 years ago with the "Generation 2" subline. Without the BW semi-reboot, TFs would just be a memory. In a 5-9 year timeframe, toy tech changes, so figures are going to change too, and you have to explain that fictionally, constantly writing characters in/out, or giving them yet another body.
