Jesus I live in Ontario Canada, I drive a 98 Tercel FWD, no Limited Slip Differential, 5-speed manual on summer tires in the winter time just fine. And no, I don't have electronic traction control. Get over it.

Also doesn't help he's doing 40 mph in the snow. Lol. I don't think your only problem is the traction control not working.
-
Serves you right to not have TC if you are smart enough to do 40mph on snow WITHOUT TC and filming at the same time. Makes me feel smart, thanks for making my day. :)

Mate, are you high seriously haha.

It's snowing, it's dark out and you have no "traction control." Maybe now's NOT the time to hold a video camera.

1. Try pressing the ESP button
2. If you dont have ESP in the snow, its probably not a good idea to focus on filming with your cell phone
There are MANY failures that can happen in your car with statbility/traction control that can TURN OFF the system. For example, a failed wheel speed/yaw rate sensor/steering wheel angle/pressure sensor etc. Better take the car to the dealer to see what is wrong.
To remind you, you will be in a much worse situation if you have a failed sensor w/ stability/traction control on. There may be a sudden misactivation where you will totally lose control of the car.

it's at the dealer right now, again. I agree completely with you on the mis activation. If I had a way to just turn it off I would, but as far as anyone can tell me, there's no way to completely turn off the system. I'd much rather drive without either system and just adapt my driving style rather than potentially have one of the systems fail in the middle of a corner where I'd then be screwed.
