  • Watching this right now is the first timed in about 30 years I've heard this version of this song. I couldn't even hear it on oldies stations, but back in the 70's I heard it all the time. Thank God for youtube and the internet!

  • Guys, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, and Chuck are all unique and interpret this groovy number each in their own way.

  • i went straight from Motörhead to the Beach Boys and they both ROCK!!

  • The Beach Boys give me a good vibration!

  • @titanquest92 sucks

  • whos the beach boys answer that now

  • I really like this. But I like the Beatles version better.

  • Carl the best!

  • @sonny45badman The melody and chord structure are very similar, but Chuck didn't write surfin' lyrics. Anyway i love Chuck and i love Brian too

  • @BeachBoysGuy1 probably I'm sorry.... buut it still doesnt mean they didnt steal surfin' USA

  • @sonny45badman I have the LP " 15 Big Ones" released by The Beach Boys in 1976 right in front of me, and guess what ? ....the credit says " Chuck Berry". . Maybe you are thinking of 'Surfin' USA' ??? Beacause Surfin' USA was actually 'Sweet Little 16' melody with different words, and they eventually settled with Chuck and all subsequent pressings give Chuck Berry credit.

  • @BeachBoysGuy1 They actually did steal it because if you check they didn't credit Chuck Berry and he was not aware that they did a song that used his music so therefore they stole it. And it cannot be said as being a cover of Chuck Berry's song because they actually released it as their own. NO WHERE WAS CHUCK BERRY CREDITED !
