  • The future is now, they already have the technology and science that will be allowed to filter down to the public in the future.

We simply have consumer technology and science, and whatever they allow us to have.

Occasionally we get something good, but mostly it's just a hand-me-down from the system.

  • Steampunk, it's steampunk.

  • Hey, how come the two brown guys who probably have multiple PhD's in physics and engineering and graduated Cum Laude, didn't get to speak? Oh sorry. Dumb question.

  • You know money truly doesn't matter? The only problem with no money is people will take more than their share. In this day and age, if we took away money all of a sudden. People would take much more than they need and hoard everything.

  • @saasaasaa010101 The speed of profit is rather too slow for me.

  • are their mugs meant to look upside down?

  • @saasaasaa010101 You have a piece of technology, or product that can be improved on or expanded on, but you're unable to because you can't use the original technology/product.

  • I would like to direct this panel's attention to two little known intellectuals: Slavoj Zizek and Adam Curtis.

  • fora should be free for all (like TED)

  • are they really promoting swarm intelligence to guide humanity ?
