Brutus, big male, 1 yr. old, playing with his sister Ruby, 1 yr. old. Brutus weighs 150 pounds now, he will eventually get to 200 when fully grown. Ruby weighs 110 lbs. but doesn't take crap from anyone, look at the way she snaps her teeth at her brother, then he knows to get away. They are so funny, this is the way Neos play - - rough.

  • Hi Kam,

Yes tootsie ie what they call Tawny.

  • I'm surprised that dish stayed on the table.

  • It was below tail height, lol. Both Brutus and Ruby are even bigger now.

  • Nice Neos!

i think Brutus is alpha.. Right from the start he was pawing over the shoulders of Ruby. And, he reassured it by climbing over the sofa, to show Ruby "I'm rank higher!" When Ruby repeatedly snaps her teeth, she was performing a submissive "grin", which is good.

  • Both Ruby and Brutus are more aggressive now as they are 20 months old now; Brutus is huge, and since Ruby had puppies, she has filled out more and both of them are quickly adding muscle (bulk). It takes Neos 4 years to grow fully.

  • Hmm.. For a second there it looked like a battle of the wits was brewing... But then it was back to the fight.

  • Yes brutus is in charge (blue collar). I wouldn't be letting them on the sofas though; asking for trouble. And you don't need to to scold them for jumping on each other, this is perfectly normal, friendly fun play and nothing to worry about. Just sit back and enjoy laughing at them, that's what I do with mine :-)

  • wonderful seeing them with their natural ears, truly gorgeous dogs! <3

  • Are these pure bread Neapolitans? They look like Cane Corso mastiffs.

  • This is exactly how our mastiff plays... the difference is he likes to play with us.. really trying to teach him out of it because he also likes to play with visitors..

  • lol poor furniture...
