Listened to this for the first time last night on a late night R2 show whilst driving home alone in the dark on a lonely road. I was blown away.

At first listening I thought this was a love song but quickly realized it was about death and the afterlife. "The flowers died embittered from the start".

It's such a beautiful vision of the afterlife being a place of new beginings but at the same time "my mother cries beneath the open skies....".
