Diesel Cold Start

White 105 cold start, about 10 degrees. About the sixth or seventh try, the batteries were dead on it, thats why there's a jumper box and a truck hooked up to it.

Dont play with the throttle like that we have a 155 field boss and it threw a rod threw the side doin the same thing

Like i explained before, i wasnt playin with the throttle. It was cold as hell out and my hands were freezin from tryin to get it goin. So i revved it a bit much, but that was to keep it from surgin.

Not to sound like a smart ass or anything, i dont think that just blippin the throttle like that would throw a rod, unless your red linin it for a while. I think that your problem was probably caused by something else, but was just coincidence that it happened while playin with the throttle. I mean these tractors take a hell of a lot of abuse and strain when pullin anything especially somethin like a plow or disc.

hi there.i am from greece and i have the same tractor.only 10 of these tractor came to greece and i have 1 of them,but they don't have parts for those.mine stile works nice after 30 years.

Yeah these are very nice reliable tractors and have plenty of power. We sometime use this to pull a 4 or 5 blade (i cant remember) plow on the smaller fields. We've had this as long as i can remember and it takes a lot of abuse. Some of the migrants will put it in like direct 2nd and floor it, goin like 3 mph through the parkin lot. We just got it all back together after a engine and clutch overhaul, runs real nice now.

Is this a White engine? I know in some models they used Perkins engines.
