@101strike3 "Pangea" is a good place to start. I suggest looking there for a basic idea. There's no way I can explain the origins of the dinosaurs in one reply. Global climatic conditions 100 million years ago were much different than we see today, and perfect for lush, tropical sub regions that prehistoric creatures thrived in. These dramatic changes do not require a "God" to wave his magic wand to create, but instead it requires time and energy. It was just another cycle the earth went throo.
