@luticia hahaha well one would expect that. Especially if you put sugar syrup in it. It is a good cake. You are just not used to arabian/turkish sweets :)

I'm sorry my friend to tell u that, but honestly, this cake is the worst I've ever eaten!! It has about 7000kcal which is definitely not worth it! I mean it's just sugary. Not taste besides sugar at all. Actually I could eat 2 pounds of sugar, wouldn't make any difference. I was really looking forward to bake it cause I love walnutscakes, but this one is a night mare.

Would you recommend to use lemon or orange for the sirup? Other recipes are saying to use lemon. Which one is the original way?
Jeez,chocolate sounds soooo fantastic! WOOOW! Unfortunately I AM on diet, but well one day......maybe should forget about my diet ;-)

If I make this cake on Friday and serve it on Saturday, when do I have to put the sirup on it? Already on Friday or right before eating it? Thanks!!

Luticia good day,
It's better to put the sirup on Friday so that it would be better absorbed by Saturday.
If your are not on ... strict diet you can serve it with icecream or hot chocolate !!!
