This trailer makes the game look longer, harder and a bit more epic than the game actually is, but I still think Twilight Princess was better than OOT.

I think that Skyward Sword needs expansive forest-y fields.

@Wiman445 I know, but early 2011 means anywhere from Jan.1 - May 30, and all we have is one measly trailer, some people fortunate enough to play a beta world but with near done controls, and the specs and info at e3 (some where known before e3 like wmp only playability) all that was known before e3 2010 was a painting that explained a lot at the round table at e3 2009, and wmp playability, 2006-early 2009, jack shit. We still don't have enough info, esrb, box art, etc for it to be next month imo

@Duorsa actually January or early February in the states might be logical since Mr Aonuma stated in an e3 gamespot interview that it would be released in early 2011
-
@Wiman445 yes or in the next week, but its best not to rush a game, let them take their time to make it the best it can be, they said it wil be out really soon 2011, im assuming around mid-february, since it would be non-logical to bring it in march since the 3ds will be hot then. I doubt it for January and April, anything past April would be unacceptable.
-
@Duorsa yes i am but i wish they didnt delay it cuz it woulda been out by now
-
@Wiman445 Are you looking forward to Skyward Sword Wiman? It's supposed to come out even earlier as Miyamoto said it was coming along "Like Gangbusters" in November and said its coming soon. And Aonuma said the basis is really strong now, its all coming together nicely. I love the painting-esque graphics, and people shouldn't be whining about the graphics, they implemented that style for a reason. Ty said the gameplay would be horrid with realized graphics, and such.

@Duorsa skyward sword is gonna be harder because of 1:1 swordplay and they are leaving the traditional dungeon field dungeon field gameplay

@Wiman445 that sounds like Skyward Sword :D I don't know about difficulty yet though, but it looks like Nintendo's striving toward that goal. I hope its rated T. It's more difficult to kill things in Skyward Sword, so this might be our dream game. The new one will have Skyloft and Hyrule, sounds big to me, and they've supposedly been working on it since 2005, I heard that first, but maybe it was right after Phantom Hourglass, like some say.
Check out around :35... Looks like they left out an awesome attack along with everything else. From looking at the earliest trailers, I actually think i would like to play that twilight princess rather than the final version. Its almost like they're two different games, and the earlier version looks better.

No, I'm pretty sure that attack was in the game. It's Link's trademark spin attack.

There's an attack right before he does the spin attack that happens when the clip starts. It appears that link rushes at the enemy and thrusts his sword into it, moving forward a bit so that he can use the spin attack

Oh. Well, it DOES look familiar, though. But it's been a while since I played the game. Are you sure it's not one of the secret abilities?
Seabutcher 3 years ago
Positive. Although i may have figured it out now that i really think about it. In the game he's got his regular sword attacks that he uses, and I'm pretty sure he can form them into combos depending on which way the control stick can be pressed. In like the third or fourth hit he finishes the combo with a more powerful attack. Havent played the game in a while either, but maybe that thrust is one of those combo finishers.

Ah, that sounds about right actually.
