@RedSoxWSAgain How the hell do comments from one musician to another have anything to do with the idiotic comments of people on youtube who have no idea what they are talking about yet think we are all waiting for their opinions on how great artists play? Besides that, I don't know which incident you are referring to with Davis and Marsalis, but in all honesty when you have to insult it is because you lack the ability to speak to another person constructively.

@Cancrizans you've proven you're clearly not a musician or have lived in a musical world of ridiculous humility. Artists constantly critique each other behind closed doors or with people they feel comfortable with. It's very common you clearly just don't understand. You can watch videos of conductors lambasting their orchestras and of other musicians like Miles Davis trashing wynton marsalis. Seriously get out of that bubble

I was lucky enough to listen Sgouros playing last year and he was quite amazing

@bagdad4 Oh really. He's a "name"? On what planet? 12 or not, this shows many of his inherent weaknesses, which probably led to his not becoming a mature well-known artist.

lol the conductor deosnt know how to conduct !!!

Fast and crisp -- just how I like it.

what are you talking about hes definitely a name, and hes 12 years old here! give it a rest

Exacly. Tempo feeling here is a bit messed.
One of the funniest things about Youtube is all the armchair Pianists telling those who really do it how it should be done. Unless you are up there yourself, just shut it. No one needs to hear the stupidity of some hacks with a little talent but no modesty or true understanding.
A real artist would never engage in the kind of useless criticism and buffoonery that goes on here, and believe me no one believes you guys could even equal a small degree of these artist's skill, so give it up please.

What's up with Sgouros nowdays? The way he rose up in his youth, you would think he would be a household name...instead, he plays some obscure venues and I wonder if he is as good now as when he was a child prodigy.
By the way, Chopin himself was only 19 when he wrote this concerto.
