24 ppl hate that jimi is THE best guitarist ever to date n the world will end that way.
-
this might be the prettiest thing I've ever heard.
-
@Samstrat94 i know what you mean :P. i just meant the sound of the guitar, amp and recording, it sounds a lot like SRV's typical tone.
-
@ropewalkingelephant How can he have more of an SRV tone if this was before SRV's time?
-
Why would you listen to Jimi if you are going to hit the dislike button? The only thing to dislike is the fact that he is gone.
-
interesting how jimi through this amp has more of a SRV tone
-
ooh lordy ...
-
I just wish Paul's harmonica was louder. Otherwise, this is simply brilliant.
-
If there was someone else out there that could play like this, they would not have been able to hide it !!! This is absolutely Jimi !
-
@terb177 Jimi didn't say that, it's someone else. But I'm not saying that this isn't Jimi playing.
every time i hear this song, my brain travels farther into space

Ok I did a little research. This is from a bootleg CD called "Blues At Midnight" recorded at Cafe Au Go Go in NYC with Butterfield playing that crying harmonica and Buddy Miles on drums on the date mentioned.......this is really Jimi.
