When a Dell technician came to my place to install a new hard drive in my computer because it was on the way out he for some reason decided to format my EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. I don't know what he was thinking or why he even plugged it into the computer. That hard drive had over 800gb worth of data on it and stupid me hadn't done a backup on most of it. I'm never letting anyone near my external hard drives again.

After reformating a harddrive and reinstalling win xp and other data earlier backed up, how do I recover dymo label addresses from that drive. I mean after reinstalling winmdows, can I still use the software to recover from the harddrive? Could someone please help.

I had a problem with one of my HDD, which I had borrowed to a friend. He or someone else formatted one partition, exactly that with my degree project samples. But with the help of data recovery software I manged to recover them and some pictures too! Thanks!
