Listening to both Wynn's version and Merle's, Its hard to pick a favorite.The fact that Wynn wrote it but let Merle cut it first (his first chart single) to get a start in the business, speaks volumes for Wynn..............I like both versions!!!!

I agree! Marty and Merle, the two great M&M's of C&W, both with great vocals, and great musicianship. Songwriting was quite good as well.
