Yes ... the comment about "white culture." Truth is, many on the right wing are flat out racists. Defectors from the Jerry Falwell camp have talked about how racist these right wing religio-nuts are in private. Falwell himself came to prominence in Virginia by starting a whites-only school.

So Bumenthal was just trying to draw them out and get them to admit what they all talk about when cameras are absent. He's good at letting people hang themselves. That's why I admire him.

Good point. Now let's look at what someone like ann coulter does. She writes books QUOTING several politicians and commentators and points out their hypocrisy. Take Peter Singer for example. He wrote that people should be able to kill babies with birth defects at any age. His words. She is exposing him to the people who would like to use that information against him and his fans. Same concept. Both provoke controversy. Coulter may stand out being a female conservative. But its the same thing.

Also, I couldn't find anything about Falwell's all white school. I do think he's made some ignorant comments in the past, and I don't share his views, but I couldn't find that one. Besides, the libertarian in me sees nothing wrong with an all white school. There are plenty of all black schools.

What are you talking about, the guy went to this event to to cause trouble. He went right after Michelle Malkin about something she already apologized about. And there is plenty of dehuminizing from both sides of the isle. The right turns Nancy Pelosi into a cript keeper and the left turns Dick Cheney into an evil warmongerer bend on world domination. If you don't recognize this you are delusional. Personally, I think Dobson should focus on his own family. We can agree about that.
