  • DOUCHEBAGS! Having a bunch or journalists critique a film about the depraved depths that their profession can sink to is like asking turkeys to critique dinner arrangements at Christmas!! Starsuckers is a really good film, and quite rightly points out how the press panders to retards, and exploits retards who think Amy Winehouses hair-do is more important news than the death toll in Iraq. Readers of The Star and Sun are, ergo, retarded. Correct. They should never be called 'NEWS papers'.SEE IT

  • what a depressing bunch of Brits. Completely missing the point they moan and groan about how sorry they feel for the various people in the film instead of the issue that our mainstream press is completely unburdened by little details like the truth. Like WMD in Iraq etc. I mean who cares as long as the kids are happy

  • Wow. This is like watching 4 people who love the sound of their own voice compete for a miss-the-point award.

  • I think a lot of the criticism is valid. The film is faulted in terms of science and definately tone. That said the film is an important one and I really like it. Johann Hari fucks up here a lot. The stats about teenagers being'important people' well that is made within referance of narcicism which is the opposite of the self esteem point Hari makes. The film could have been MUCH better, but that does not mean it is worthless.

  • Stuck up toffs attacking the truth! BBC bullshit yet again. These tax payer funded rodents make me sick!

  • A bunch of journalists dislike a movie exposing journalists? Wow. Colour me surprised.

  • Newsnight Review is always full of shit . All the best reviewers have left and its just the fuckwitts left talking out of there arses just for the hell of it. Ie nothing impresses them and they have seen everything before

  • criticizing critic's critiques, are you? well, i'm even better than that; i'm gonna criticize criticizers of critic's critiquing. and, then? then i'm gonna critically critique my own criticism of criticizers' critiques of critic's criticism. now? now i'm gonna lie down with a cologne-drenched 'kerchief over m' face.

  • @Slammerooni Be fair to the tabloids bro. By the time they've given the appropriate coverage to Jordans latest "Bombshell" Kerry Katonna's weight loss/gain, Wino's habit, the obligatory kiss and tell from some tart who, after a romantic night sucking off some premier league footballer in the gents at Tiger Tiger only to have her texts ignored, feels it is now her duty to tell the world what kind of man he is, a snap of Kelly Brook's jugs & the latest feud between x factor judges- its the sport

  • I like people bitching about British people and the BBC what with it being a British film made by the BBC.

  • I CANNOT BELIEVE THE COMMENT MADE AT 5:50 ARE U SH*TING ME!!!!
