MukiBaum Treatment Centres' all encompassing Sensory Program focuses on treating sensory processing issues using methods such as sensory integration therapy and the development of individualized sensory diets. People with developmental, emotional and psychiatric challenges, who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and PDD, frequently experience impairments in the way they integrate, process and organize sensory information. This therapeutic program designs an environment where the children and adults we serve can better function in spite of their challenges. The treatment program reduces anxiety, develops coping strategies, and provides opportunities for learning self regulation and self expression.
