Tales of Vesperia PS3 Montage

I haven't played much of Tales of Vesperia, but I can realize when Namco pulls a fast one xD.

This is...erm...'dedicated'... to everyone that bought Tales of Vesperia Beta (as Dagoldenclip2 calls it) on the 360 and have to watch Namco throw the sheets over their eyes with this "port" (more like a new game altogether -_-). I feel your pain.

Music is from Nico Nico. Thanks goes to Dimentio64 for posting the songs and download links, so check out those videos for the link or I can upload them if you need me too. The pictures are from Dengeki and photobucket, and are conviniently chronicled at the official Tales forum. Since I don't work for Namco Bandai, I obviously didn't produce ANY of this.

Lol I just read the article about Sony, Microsoft, and Namco. Basically, all of this isn't really Namco's fault (like a few comments below said). It basically worked as a ring between the three companies which ended up with profits for all of them. And yea, it is a pretty basic technique, and QUITE effective. If anything, Namco is least to blame.

Estelle = Chloe (legendia)

Karol = Lloyd (symphonia)

I don't understand why everyone's so pissed about this. Namco does stuff like this all the time, and guess what? The ports never make it to the U.S. So there's no need to freak out over it- we more than likely wont get it anyway.

I think people are pissed because unlike Symphonia, Rebirth, Destiny 2, or the many Phantasia 'remakes', Vesperia PS3 is adding so much and seems as though its filling in all of the holes of the 360 version. Also, some people put money down on a 360 solely for Vesperia, then come to see this.

But I agree with you: chances are Namco won't waste resources attempting to localize it. It's a shame, considering that they continue to reveal new content.

Look at the bright side. If this had all been included in the 360 version, it might have been considered too big a localization project, with too many voiced lines to be worth the risk.

that sucks I just bought it for xbox but the core of the game is the same besides a few extra quests and bosses not enough reason to buy the same fucking game

Even though I'm playing the PS3 version of this game, but I would like it to be localized since I don't understand one bit of Japanese. There are a lot of news stating that the whole English dub cast had been called to dub a whole new of extra dialouge. So there is a chance for this game to come to US, although it may take quite a long time.

this is such a unforgettable game. people ought to acquire the complete version for complimentary. just google ps3bigskydownload and check out the 1st link. it is such a great and fascinating game. take joy in!
