I used to paint these when I was a kid but Im gonna but some tomorrow but I could never paint that good I just couldnt get the highlights right, could someone please explain some techniques how to highlight or send me to a vid that explains it well. Slainte!

Man how do you 'blend colours' and 'shade' on the face? Is the shade like some sort of wash and blend is like a recoat over the parts of the wash that went astray?
