Well the E.U. didn't exist then.. and anyway they helped fund your internet connection.

And what about all the Irish diaspora spread throughout the world, subjected to the kind of anti-immigrant abuse you are dealing out at the moment.
"An injury to one is an injury to all"... many non-Irish people have sympathised with the anti-imperialist struggle in Ireland... and don't confuse patriotism with nationalism. Be the change you want to become, or you'll just end up like the Brits of the 20thC. The men of 1916 died for a free Ireland, yes, which means a tolerant one as well.

Very stupid comment. If you want to talk about the men of 1916, James Connolly was Scottish born and lived many years in America. And being a socialist he was also an internationalist. Eamon De Valera, being a US citizen, was spared execution. What if he wasn't a citizen of the US? I could go on giving many other examples.

Stupidest comment I ever heard, foreigners will kill ireland! No they won't if anything they will add to the rich tapestry of irish history. The men who died in 16 would be ashamed of your attitude.
