Tonight it's Commissar vs Warp Spider on Siwal frontier. Wurgl displays some shining commissar play. But Putin's WSE maneuvers keep him on his toes!

I agree with Alek. Putin's WSE didnt keep Wurgl's Commy on his toes all game. Cmon Red =/

This guy is just another eldar player albeit with less micro it seems. Looked he tried to rely on wraiths for a cheap quick win yet Wurgl knew it and got ogryns as a Counter-Measure.

@tearharvester Meh, Rangers would've only helped the flank so far. Once he got the mine placements on his Shuriken's it wouldn't have mattered. But if you look at the start he needed those Shee's out instead of spending 300 Req on some Rangers. Personally he should've won the early game lead because the WSE with Spinner or Entangle destroys Sentinels or Guardsmen.

Rangers should've been out once he was Dominating. Much sooner than the Shuriken team. But this Eldar player was kinda weak.

@AlekThunder47 He didn't use his Commander that well. He should've stuck with FS or WL because he wasn't doing that much Constant Harassment to Guardsmen with the WSE. I'm surprised he didn't get the Death Spinner or Entangle like you mentioned. Both upgrades would've been great vs the Commy lord.

But yeah the detection would've only helped for the Explosives. All in all it really came down to his Wraiths. He didn't make the most use of his guard and you can tell he just set them on Auto-Attk

@MrShadowCollector Rangers are not just for detection, their abilities can be really useful. But yeah, Putin didn't played well. Surprising there was no entangling web on WSE to counter Ogryns.

@MrShadowCollector IDK man getting rangers in that game would of been a way better choice. the mines would not have whiped the banshies he could of got good back caping with them and once the ogres come out ( witch they always do ) then he could of put extra hurt on them. also would of prevented extra sight so his surikin did not get flanked all the time. I know y people don't like rangers vs imp however i think they are better vs them than most people think

Well guys let's look at it like this. Even if he did get Rangers they would only be good for Mine detection which was all Wurgl had out. If wurgl deployed Storm Troopers with Melta's then yeah Rangers would be needed. But spending so much Req to see Explosives isn't worth the cost imo.

Now don't get me wrong, Rangers are good vs Ogryns especially when teamed with Shuriken's but his resources were needed elsewhere. Personally Putin should've made a Wraithlord over a Wraithguard.
