I want my freedom of choice. I don't want a government dictating what is good or bad for me. If I want to ingest fluoride I will buy it in a supplement form. If I don't want my teeth to rot, I will brush regularly with fluoridated tooth-paste. So many people want their water fluoride free. What about their rights? If people believe the lie that fluoride is good for you and they choose to ingest it, let them buy it themselves in supplement form. I don't think the people of Calgary should pay for the useless poisoning of our drinking water. Fluoride is a byproduct of fertilizer production. Many studies have proven the health hazards. If it is even just a little toxic why does the government insist on adding it to the water. It is ludicrous!!! So I beg city council to take into consideration the rights of all people. The people who want fluoride free water, and the others. The answer is simple. Stop the fluoridation!!! Let people choose what they ingest.

  • I encourage people to write to Calgary Mayor Nenshi themayor@calgary.ca

and tell him to stop water fluoridation. Voting on this issue will not solve the problem as it will allow a group of citizens to make a decision about our freedom of choice and future health. If in doubt, get it out.

I suggest people stop paying their water bill until it can be scientifically proven that there are zero health and safety concerns. I bet they can't !

  • @DianeDi Totally agreed. Although it would be tough to get people to stop paying their water bills. It's brazen tyranny. We don't have much of a choice. I guess we just have to have faith in out administration. There is hope. The majority of them seem to be sensible. We'll just have to see what happens tomorrow on the city council vote. I'll post an update.

  • It might not be wise to stop paying bills however I have written to our treatment facility asking them *Since I've never signed a contract with U to administer a medication to myself & to my family, under what obligation do I have to pay my bills until I have confirmation from U that what I am consuming is *perfectly safe* & will have no contraindications to my health & my family’s health? . Can you assure me that the fluoride in my water supply will have no ill effects on my person whatsoever?

  • @DianeDi That is fine and dandy, but the harsh reality is that they will just cut your water off if you refuse to pay your bill.

  • Please watch and share my video "FLUORIDE : The Bizarre History" /watch?v=qYR57ZYvRuU

I thought I knew so much about fluoride before putting this together, but there are still surprises on this very political issue.

  • I also want to mention that if Council is calling on an "expert panel" to discuss this, it really must include medical doctors and pathologists, as they are the only ones truly able to report on soft tissue and bone damage from years of fluoride accumulation. The panels these groups have been listening to in the past are dentists. That must change.

  • @procack1 Done deal link is at 3:42 in this video

  • @gordonmcdowell I will get on that right now. Not a problem

  • Thanks for the heads-up about the video footage recycling. Exactly what I was hoping to see. If you have the time, I'm hoping the ultimate in source-citing is to add a video annotation link to the original video, so a recycled portion offers (while it plays) a link back to the same moment in the source material. No worries if you can't, can be a tedious pain. But that's why I try do with my own videos when I recycle footage.

    Thanks for picking out highlights.

  • lol i like the little spot at the end with Jill ;) its so cute she stayed still for those 5 seconds
