The banging sounds are the various bells and "straight" bells that they hit with a stick. It is common for all kinds of puja performed around India. The sound is used to distract our mind away from the material world and the louder it gets the stronger it pulls our mind away from other distractions that are inside of us. Focus is the key for all of this,

Jai Ma,
Who performs this song? The thundering banging and clanging in the background? I want a copy.

And the women?¿?
Wheter is is drama or not, there is never any women?¿!
Maybe they already connected and do not need any of this?¿!

Very interesting! Beautiful images. I like to see all these naked men and boys together, sharing this spiritual state.
But this is not a «secret ceremony»; it is full of people!

I find it all a bit wacky if I am honest, but noone can say that they are not devoted that one thing for sure!
I am not saying we all need to become Sadhus but after watching this I will certainly try to discipline myself a little more.

Only because of these different diversities within a religion or "way of life" , we have today a very lively, rich and sustaining tradition in India. It is being practiced here since the very start of human civilization itself in most part of the world. The west is grappling with ways to deal with sustainability while they turn a blind eye to a Naga Baba in India only because of the fear of loosing the amenities that they are used to.
The nagas knew the way ages back.
Jai Shiv Bhagwan !!
@1916danny you are an idiot. You have no idea about yoga, science and consciousness. If you call India your country then be aware of its gifts and boons. Don't be a spoit son who doesn't know the value of one's own mother.
